About Me

Hi there! I am Björn R. and I am a Freelance Photographer based in Lausanne / Switzerland.  

As a Sagittarius, journeying and discovering new horizons is a part of my DNA. Many of my photos are taken while traveling or in studio, but also in everyday life - sometimes even from my balcony. 

My camera allows me to capture moments of awe. I love the feeling of being small and insignificant in the face of the powerful elements of nature, a humbling reminder of how little we control as humans. 

My passion lies in landscape and wilderness photos as well as pet photography. I love capturing the unique expressions of animals. 

When it comes to humans or advertising, I like to create scenes that tell a story and convey a unique atmosphere. It is important for me to capture the authentic expression of people whose portraits I am taking. 

When I am not behind the camera, you can find me geeking out over cameras, playing tennis, walking in nature or playing the drums.
